Short description:
Chandler, the PIM made by OSAF (www.osafoundation.org) has an extension API for developing "parcels" or plugins. Having seen the cool MoinX application for Mac OS X, it seems like a similar tool inside of Chandler would extend the PIM in new and useful directions. (I don't envision it calling an external web browser, but simply displaying the pages in the Chandler interface itself.) PIMs often have 'note' storage capabilities, but they are usually discreet notes that are not interconnected and are not nearly as powerful as a wiki paradigm. Why not upgrade the notepad to a wiki?
Integrating wikis with pre-existing organizational tools to create new hybrids that may fill the needs of many users.
Probably useful to PIM users and power-users who would adopt Chandler, a pre-release program but one that shows great promise in its category.
