A Digested Summary
This is not really a feature request but more a request for comments. I have been a bit active on MeatballWiki and found that they have another concept for the Comment for edits they call DigestedSummary. The question is of we at MoinMoin like to do something similar
If i understood the concept correctly theier thoughts were, that it often makes not much sense to always have every comment that is added to (also minor) edits in RecentChanges. So it is possible to edit the comment for a defined period (fortnight= two weeks).
What i think is nice about that is that one can edit comments which could also be spam and that one can make summaries that do make more sense. So please everybody think about that and comment. Do we want this, also? -- ThiloPfennig 2006-12-05 19:10:19
