DisableTimestampDisplay
It would be nice to have a global config option to disable the display of timestamps when looking at the history of pages. So that only specially permitted users may see when an article was edited.
Background: If using moinmoin in a corporate environment german laws tell that the work council must be informed about using such tools. If personal data is involved they have a legal right to deny the usage or allow it only if certain conditions are hold. Since from timestamps you can control when a certain employee worked on something they said we may use moinmoin only if no timestamps are displayed.

To original poster: don't you think that removing those timestamps would be overdoing things? If somebody works at a computer, he produces LOTS of timestamps: every file he even only reads gets a new atime timestamp (similar for write and create), Windows computers will create event log entries when booted and shutdown, when you surf the web or some intranet webpage, you'll create entries in logfiles of proxies / web servers / firewall, when writing an email, it will also have a timestamp, etc. - so, how exactly does moin do something you could not do anyway somehow?
Answer: I have a valid request, one that I can not ignore, that we must not display those timestamps. It does not mean that I personally agree with them. The difference to the kind of log files you mention is that those are only be visible to "administrators" of the servers. So there are strict rules under which circumstances someone here is allowed to look at them. The wiki timestamps on the other hand are visible to everyone having read access to the page. Making it possible that someone controls the way you work. So atime is not a problem, because only a few specially selected people have access to them. Yes I am aware that such a request from our work council makes it almost impossible to use any kind of version control system, still I can not ignore it.
