Moin could have a setting to prevent the creation of unwanted page names
I think in every wiki there are page names that should not be used. I think MoinMoin alread does have machanisms to allow only some page names. Often you do not want users to be able to create EVERY name.
- you do not want users to be able to
create an ExamplePage that is given in documentations (to show how not existing pages look like)
- create spam pages (not only content can indicate spam, also page names)
- you do not want users to create templates and/or categories by themselves.
- create unwanted page names that are racist, sexist, illegal or for whatever reason.
A simpel solution would be to just have the possibilty to change the regex. Maybe this is already possible today, but much better would be a page list that also could have regexes for pages. The user should be informed if the pagename is forbidden.
