Short description
The Xapian-based internal search facility is great 
However, not (yet) all the information is contained in the Wiki, a lot of information is hidden somewhere in a database or the file-system.
I dream of having one and only one search input item to search
inside the MoinMoin Wiki
- as well as outside.
It is perhaps easier to call other search engines (such as Google Desktop Search or Omega Search) from MoinMoin than the other way round, because MoinMoin has the concept of ACLs.
In an ideal world, I'd have a search engine that integrates (for example)
- Google Desktop Search for my local hard disks
Xapian Search for searching in the MoinMoin Wiki
- Perhaps some plugin to search inside an SQL database
- Some other (user-configurable) web-sites that have a "search" item.
