Short description
There are still users who do not have an email account or do not want to have one. The still could use Wiki and they should be able to register on MoinMoin!? I think nowadays one should not have to have email to participate. Anonymous users can also work without giving out their adresses. but MoinMoin does not allow to register without an email address. Email address is required to avoid unneccessary work for the admin (e.g. when users lose their password).
Practically you can use any string as your email address. Moin does not check or try to send mail to the address. You can also hack the code quite easily to remove the email requirement, as it is not very effective as is.
