When rendering links in plain-text, use footnotes

I often use Moin for maintaining online documentation & the Moin plain text formatter for rendering documentation for distribution in a release

A common style for rendering hyper-text as plain-text is using footnotes, for instance - 

Here is a link [7] & some text

This is the end

[7] http://frogstylebiscuit.com/

I personally wish the plain-text formatter 1 used this style.

Right now using the text/plain formatter with footnotes gives a trace back. I just fixed that in the tla. -- FlorianFesti 2006-01-26 22:59:36
