Short description
It would be nice to have some kind of an indication of the existence of old page history on deleted pages, as described on http://www.usemod.com/cgi-bin/mb.pl?PlayingDead
It would give a much better indication of the fact that such a page existed before -- often saving the work of creating it. If the page was removed on purpose, there is a good chance it was explained in the deletion comment -- so the users will have a chance of seeing it before re-creating the page and possibly annoying all other users.
