RandomPage and RandomQuote should support regular expressions
It would be nice to allow regexes in the RandomPage Macro. Currently, I'm trying in vain to hack the include macro to work off a list of all pages I put up via macros on another page, just because I cannot exclude certain pages (internal wiki pages) from showing up via the macro, and I really need a macro that shows a random page, but only one of the ones I want it to. Sadly, neither the include nor the randomquote macro seem to like that page which is populated via macros, much to my dismay. I'm trying to make random references in a wiki game, and it looks really bad when we get wiki internal help pages and crap from the macro, and there's no good way to exclude them that I can find...

I think that's a good idea. I'd like the same thing for RandomQuote. I implemented the latter; code is on my homepage... --EdPrice 2004-08-13
I second Matt's request. In my case, I'd like to exclude pages of a MonthCalendar used for several years from showing up as random pages. -- Holger 2013-06-26
