MentalWealth

MentalWealth is a MoinMoin 1.5 theme by [MAILTO]robin.escalation@ACM.org. It is licensed under the GPL and so is free to use. Your continuing comments and bug reports are welcome.

Description

This is an updated version of my MentalHealth theme, but with the sidebar on the left. This helps a lot if you have wide content since in MentalHealth this would have swamped the menus. The only issue this theme has is that really wide links in the sidebar will extend over the available space. (As demonstrated.)

If you are reading this in your web browser you are viewing a screen that simulates how the theme will look while running in MoinMoin. Actions are disabled because they have no meaning in this context. Of course they will work correctly in a real wiki!

Installation

Install in the usual way, depending on what type of MoinMoin application you have. Basically:

If you require more help, see the MoinMoin docs on HelpOnThemes.

Customisation

People email me asking if I would change things like spaces between sections and other display minutae. Please be aware that you can customise the theme to your purposes without knowing any programming. Simply edit the appropriate CSS file, located in htdocs/mentalwealth/css/. Specifically, if you want to change the screen display, edit screen.css.

For example, say you would like a different colour scheme. MentalWealth uses three blue tints for background colours, and a grey for borders. The specific colours are noted in the screen.css header comment. Simply search and replace each colour in turn with those you wish to use.

Or, if you'd like to change the headers (those parts you create with markup like ====), look for the code for the corresponding CSS elements h1, h2, h3, and so on.

I regret I do not have time to do any of this for you. There are many good CSS tutorials available on the web. If you wish more extensive design work (HTML, CSS, graphics, SEO, etc.) you may contract my services.

We're in love with wealth
We're in love with mental health."
