The current set of smileys is not very nice, also, even though they are PNG files, there are pixel lines instead of smooth lines (note: unclear what you are trying to tell. PNG is pixel graphics, so having "pixel lines" is expected, -- ThomasWaldmann <<DateTime(2009-11-12T04:31:35+0200)>> ).

I took the liberty of creating SVG smileys for a size of 15x15 pixels and exporting PNG versions. Where can I upload/send a ZIP archive of these (~90 kb).

You can upload them here and maybe want to use some {{{ {{attachment:example smiley.png}} }}} to show them inside this page.

I think we can add svg icons and smileys in 2.0 if 
 a. svgweb can render those with flash (for IE)
 a. the IE users do install the chrome frame plugin
 a. the IE users drops that browser and uses some different with svg support
 
Also, to proof that svgweb is capable of sanely supporting this, please make some proof-of-concept page and try it with IE6. Maybe something similar to HelpOnSmileys, just to see what happens if there are ''many'' small svg icons on a page.
