SoC Project
The main goal of my SoC project is to implement Text Classification features in MoinMoin.
Text Classification will provide MoinMoin the ability to automatically group/tag related wiki pages based on user feedback and possibly to implement new actions (notifications) when new content is added. The project should implement state-of-art algorithms like: Bayesian classification, Support Vector Machines or Artificial Neural Networks or use existing frameworks like: [http://www.ailab.si/orange Orange], [https://elefant.developer.nicta.com.au/ Elefant]
Another goal is to work on the spam filtering system started by other developers (SkipMontanaro). This is achievable either using the text classification feature or by integrating some external system ([http://spambayes.sourceforge.net/ SpamBayes]).
