The documentation under http://moinmo.in/HelpOnAuthentication explain the function about user_autocreate = True. But in the changelog of 1.8 it's explained that:
user_autocreate setting was removed from wiki configuration and
replaced by a autocreate=<boolean> parameter of the auth objects that
support user profile auto creation
