On other sites xx >> yy >> zz is guaranteed to be a hierarchy navigation.
Therefore you need to say it is recently browsed pages.

A path (like a filesystem or url path) using x/y/y is for hierarchy. You have this about everywhere, urls, filesystems, ... and we also show it like that.
The trail we show as x >> y >> z is the sequence of visited pages. We show it differently from the usual way a hierarchy is shown, see above.
So I don't see anything wrong with that.
