Discussion
The page editor should show what page will be modified or created.
Is this really needed? Usually you clicked on "edit" for that page a second ago, so you should know what page it is. I reduced the header display in the editor to make more space for the editor itself.
- I think this is very important, esp. if you edit multiple pages at once. This is also important if you take a long time editing a new page, whether because it takes a long time to write the new page or because you get called away for something (like dealing with noisy kids!).
If you wish to save space what is with the message bar this could be replaced in you are editing MoinMoinBugs/EditorDoesNotShowPageName page. Another option would be to change the "Save Changes" button to "Save <the page name>".
I think that it's enough to show "Edit PageName" in the title of browser window. BTW, I suggest that we use page name display in the head of the page as FredDrake proposed, and moves to the editor in the page by bookmark, e.g., EditorDoesNotShowPageName?action=edit&editor=text#editorbox as used in the preview.
