Description

Linkto search is very slow, for example Title Search: "linkto:"FrontPage"".

Steps to reproduce

1. Install DesktopEdition 1.5.3-1 (1.3.4-2 was OK)

2. Go to the Front Page

3. Click on the title : FrontPage

Example

First search :

Title Search: "linkto:"FrontPage""
15 results out of about 340 pages. (21.59 seconds)

Second search

Title Search: "linkto:"FrontPage""
15 results out of about 340 pages. (20.52 seconds)

Third search

Title Search: "linkto:"FrontPage""
15 results out of about 340 pages. (25.70 seconds)

Details

Note I've recently ipgraded from DesktopEdition 1.3.4-2 to 1.5.3-1, Python is installed on my computer but I guess it is not used by the DesktopEdition. It happens on the second and third search and I know Moin can write to the "wiki" directory, because I can create a new page. I didn't notice such a slow search on the moinmoin.wikiwikiweb.de wiki but it seems that it is not specific to the DesktopEdition

This bug is not specific to the DesktopEdition.

Please try to clean the cache (search for all cache directories below pages and delete them). Is the clock of your computer set correctly?

• After the deletion of the cache directories, the search is still as slow as before. The clock seems to be OK.
  But after the second deletion of the cache directory the first linkto search gives :

• The second linkto search is still very slow but the result is correct.
