Description
Describe the bug... This is probably a feature, not a bug. WinZip 6.2 and 7-z give different results when unpacking moin-1.5.3.tar.gz
Steps to reproduce
- do this...
Unpack moin-1.5.3.tar.gz using WinZip 6.2. The result (for me) was 1846 files in 508 folders with 3 complaints that it needed to overwrite a previously-created file. I then downloaded and installed 7-z, which you folks seem to recommend. It unpacked the gz file in one step, then unpacked moin-1.5.3.tar in a second step. The result was 1852 files in 515 folders, with no complaints (notify of overwrite turned on). My guess is that the extra 6 files and 7 pathnames are due to very long edges. In any case, I suggest (after checking, if you wish) you caution users that older versions of WinZip may not correctly unpack your distribution files.
