Description
If you setup acl_rights_default = 'UserGroup:read, write, delete, revert' anonymous users can't use FindPage but they can enter something into the search box and are able to start a text or title search. They do find underlay pages.
The input field and the two buttons should be removed from modern_cms for the case the user has no rights to use it and for modern probably too. Or it should be disabled. -- ReimarBauer 2006-06-06 15:01:51

Workaround
Discussion
It is not the intent of modern_cms to disable search for the anon visitor.
If acls do protect all pages to be read then it is not useful. So the question is more does the wiki know for a user if a search could give a result or is it always null. And if it's null it can't be used so it may be disabled. -- ReimarBauer 2006-06-06 16:19:55
