New starters in the ISS team will need access to Opsview, to be able to administer the system in terms of creating service checks, passive checks for a host, Service among other things.

A request will need to be raised and assigned to the Database and Linux team who responsible for creating user accounts on Opsview.

Steps to raising a Sostenuto request:

1. Open Internet Explorer

2. Go to the Favorites, on the top left side and select the “IFDS Homepage” link click here: http://www.oneifds.com/

3. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on the “IT Solutions Knowledge Base” link.

4. Enter opsview in the window in “Step 2” and click on Search.

From the ensuring Windows, select : Opsview New Account Request

From the ensuring Window, click on

Complete the Window titled Support Step 2.

• Change Management Company to [Not Applicable].
• In the section titled: “Please provide details of your issue / request”
• Enter request details for the database team, please note if you require admin access, authotisation must be sought from your LM.

If authorisation is required and provided, attach a copy of email/correspondence to this request and click submit, a confirmation of the call you just raised, will be emailed to you.
