Confluence to MoinMoin Wiki converter (confluence2moinmoin)

This is the Confluence to MoinMoin conversion script project (with the aim of converting the existing Mailman Wiki to MoinMoin).

In April 2011 John Sullivan of the Free Software Foundation and Barry Warsaw made announcements calling for volunteers to convert the Mailman Wiki from the non-free (as in speech) Confluence (hosted gratis by Atlassian) to MoinMoin.

Eventually, the translation software got written, tested, fixed, and the migrated content deployed, tested and finally deployed for real. Jim Tittsler made a nice theme for the Mailman Wiki to finish the job nicely.

The mailing list used to discuss the project is mailman-developers, although most conversations have been about the concrete task of converting the Mailman Wiki, not general Confluence-to-Moin migration.
