Short description
I wanted to see "what links here" on MoinMoin enabled web site. After 30 minutes I moved to main MoinMoin site to find what preference should be turned on. After another 30 minutes I still have no idea, but at least now I know that this feature is called BackLinks. Now if I click a title of the page it will give me list of all pages that link to current page, but on my MoinMoin enabled site theme doesn't allow me to click on page title.
It would be more convenient for all editors to have "what links here" or "backlinks" entry in page actions breadcrumb or in "more actions" menu or at least in page info screen. It would also be nice to have list with results formatted explicitly as "backlinks" page and not like search page with confusing message what title search may be incomplete and it's better try fulltext search.
There is at least one similar wiki that badly needs backlinks and it is http://wiki.ubuntu.com
Thanks.
For an older MoinMoin someone made a small action: Shows all pages referring ("linking") to the current page ActionMarket/BackLink. Maybe you or somebody else can migrate this to the current moinmoin version.
or you just use some working macro search like: <<FullSearchCached(linkto:FeatureRequests/ExplicitBacklinksMenuEntry)>>
