Share user base only in one direction
Given is this possibility:
- You have a small A-wiki (maybe this is forboard members of a foundation) wiki which is maybe part of project X
- You have a B-wiki (maybe this is a public wiki) which is also part of project X
What you want is:
- you want all members of A-wiki to be able to log into B
- you do not want all members of B-wiki to be able to log into A-wiki. Because if they could you would HAVE to configure wiki A more carefully
Different scenarios are possible where the general problem is that with a common user dir all users have access to the other wiki. You CAN today configure the wikis so that this is not a problem, but if you could configure the possibilty of a log in that you would have less work -- ThiloPfennig 2007-01-23 19:55:07

- Right now we can share users but can not share groups.
- Well we CAN share all pages, but thats not the same
- Think of another wiki as a group? This could also relate to the synchronizing of a wiki
- Maybe do it like this: If I authenticate into A-wiki I can then use B-wiki, but I am still known as a guest user (maybe with a path like wiki-A/ThiloPfennig). On B-wiki if I log in it may make a request (even via HTTP) to known wikis.
