Quick links in UserPreferences only allow few linking schemes.
It would be good to support all schemes from HelpOnLinking. This would be possible if the entries in Quicklinks would be parsed with the wiki-parser. -- DavidLinke
Steps to reproduce
Add e.g. [wiki:Self:FrontPage Alias] to your Quicklinks. If you click on the generated link "Alias" in the navibar you will be offered to create a new page with the name wiki:Self:FrontPage.

Read HelpOnConfiguration and add other link schemes manually (see url_schemas).
Discussion
- Unifying linking schemes will help to use/learn/understand this feature which is very nice to provide user specific starting points to the wiki (in Intranet-applications).
- It is planned to fix this completly in 2.0
Thanks for pointing me to url_schemas. What are the plans for 2.0? Is a rough guess of the release date possible, i.e. +/- few month?
