Description
Function update_edit_links in commin.js seems to break edit-links with special characters (e.g. german umlauts äöü) on IE6
This seems similar to the Bugs (or not bugs) described in ../EditorButtonForPagesWithUmlauteUsesWrongName and ../ProblemsWithCreatingPagesWithAccentedLetters.
I think it is about the same bug, so I suggest you add information there and DeleteThisPage (and the testing subpage you created).
Steps to reproduce
- Login with IE6
- Set "Editor shown on UI" to "the one preferred" (no matter if text or gui is chosen as editor)
Open /ThisPäge
Hover over the edit-link (or try to edit) => Link broken with strange Char
