Description

Moin 1.6.0 on Mac OS X - Create new pages shows page name of xxxssingPage or xxxMissingPage, etc. instead of page name specified. Tried using create new page Macro or when prompted from search for page that does not exist.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Fresh install of Moin 1.6.0 release version, after complete removal of 1.5.8, including removing the items in the python.frameworks subdirectory. Using Python 2.5.1 for Mac Universal downloaded from Python.org as Mac 10.4.11 has older version of Python. Running on Apple XServe, dual Intel processor. Recent clean installation of OS X Server. No other apps or server. Runing stock Apache 1.3 that ships with OS X Server.
  2. Have also tried with Mac OS X 10.5.1 Leopard on desktop PowerMac (PPC), same result with stock version of Apache and Python as shipped with OS.

Workaround

Discussion -

We need more data or we won't be able to do anything about this.

Please try if it happens if you just unpack the moin 1.6 dist archive and run moin.py (standalone server).

I have just downloaded moin1.6, have unpacked it and immediatelly have run moin.py (without doing any further installation steps as described at HelpOnInstalling/StandaloneServer). Trying to create a new page named "TestPage" creates a new page named "sing page". Mac OSX 10.5.1 ; Python 2.5.1 (r251:54863, Oct 9 2007, 20:39:46) [GCC 4.0.1 (Apple Inc. build 5465)] on darwin -- OliverSiemoneit 2008-01-15 22:21:45

(!) Page.py search for darwin and realPathCase...
