Description

When you mark an object inside the GUI window you get eight points surrounding the object. When you scroll the GUI editor window these eight point scroll with the object. In Microsoft Internet Explorer these points are visible even outside the editor window and are scrolling down until the end of the browser window.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Use Microsoft Internet Explorer (even if you don't like it)
  2. Go to the WikiSandBox

  3. Use the GUI editor
  4. Mark an object
  5. Scroll the GUI editor window so that marks should vanish at the beginning or the end of the editor window
  6. See the result...

Discussion

This is for sure not a MoinMoin bug. I assume it is a bug in IE. Maybe it can be worked around by fckeditor, but not by moin. So please file a bug report at Microsoft and maybe ask Fred at http://fckeditor.net/ if he can workaround it. -- ThomasWaldmann

I expected that answer. I know that there are better browsers out there but please consider that some people are not allowed to use other browsers at work. Sometimes you have to use what you get...
