Description
This bug is present in the latest 1.5.4 release of MoinMoin - it has been existent since at least 1.2.3. The error allows tables to run over the specified screen real estate, with a component of the tables expressed beneath the rightsidebar control panel.
Steps to reproduce
Install MoinMoin 1.5.4
- Create a new page
- Populate the page with the following:
Name
Description
(Smallest) Time Dimension
Location
Date Obtained
Local Contact
Source
CMAP
CPC Merged Analysis of Precipitation
Monthly
bluelink/blue6/climatology/CMAP/
060828
paul.durack at csiro.au
- View page on a screen at 1280 x 1024 and you should see the same table over-run specified in the attachment (if you have rightsidebar selected)

Workaround
I have no current work around for the problem - any suggestions?
May be a workaround is to use the ParserMarket/Frame Parser and to adjust the font size
{ { {#!Frame text_font_size=2px,thick=0 || Name || Description || (Smallest) Time Dimension || Location || Date Obtained || Local Contact || Source || || CMAP || CPC Merged Analysis of Precipitation || Monthly || bluelink/blue6/climatology/CMAP/ || 060828 || paul.durack at csiro.au || http://www.cdc.noaa.gov/cdc/data.cmap.html || } } }
or change the theme to modern theme.
Or do use an alias like http://www.cdc.noaa.gov/ cdc/data.cmap.html and set a blank where you want the string separated.
Discussion
May be we should add blanks to urls so they can get a line break but without changing the link address. If no alias is used may be we can add an alias always with the same name including a blank.
