Regarding merging index and index2

i) We can keep a separate area on page to drag the files to upload (if we need drag and drop) or we can just have a upload button (similar to index2). ok, drag and drop is nice to have

yes but we should be able to pre select by a filter pattern not "only by" clicking 200 times
