Before you put more work into 1.0 and mod_python, be aware that this (or rather the mod_python "native" mode, not cgi emulation) is on the todo list for moin1.2 (and the request code has completely changed). So if you want to help, get the current development version. Help would be great as I am quite busy with other stuff, too, and mod_py is not highest priority for me as I intend to use twisted-web personally.
