Refactored the code to find subitem flag for parent item

please use better commit strings than "item index view modified". Because this does not tell why you modified it and what the reason is for the change. It just tells "hi here is a changeset" which you already know, because there is one. Please look into the history how we write commit strings and make it similiar, usually you did so.
And also started work on contenttype filtering on index page, posting codes for review soon.
