Description
The Modern theme for MoinMoin 1.5 no longer includes a link to the "diff" action ("Show Changes" in 1.3). The new "Info" link alows you to see the diffs, but it adds an extra step to get a quick view of what changed most recently.
Steps to reproduce
See the header of this page.
Example
This Wiki.
Workaround
Get the latest diff via "Info" and hit the "Diff" button.
Or even better: log in and use a RC bookmark - this is exactly what you want and far better than just seeing the last edit's diff, because you will see exactly what's new since your last visit, no more, no less.
Thanks - I haven't used RC bookmarks, so I wasn't aware of how they work. Are you saying that from the page (not from the RC page) I can click on something to see what's changed since my bookmark? I can't see where. (Note that I want to be able to do this from the page itself, not from the RC page).
- It is not easily possible from the page itself right now. But maybe this is an improvement idea. So IF we add diff back on the page itself somewhere, it should show last diff for anon users and bookmark diff for logged in users.
- OK, I follow you now. That sounds good. Do you want me to add a feature request page for this, or is the note here enough?
Discussion
While having "Info" on the list of links at the top of the page may be a better use of the space (after all, "Info" includes "Diff", to some extent), could "Latest Change" (ie, action=diff) be added to the "More actions" menu at least?
I don't think we add it, as it is just inferior and superfluous considering the other methods. If you are not logged in, you get the "last edit diff link" on RecentChanges, just click on the glasses. But better log in, see above.
Again, that's from the RC page, not from the actual page which has been changed. But I see your point, it's a minor issue.
