Description

If you use the GUI editor, then create a bullet list, then try to turn one of the bullets to a numbered list, it doesn't work.

Steps to reproduce

  1. use gui editor
  2. make a bulleted list
  3. try and separate bullets and change one section to numbered list instead of bullets

Discussion

I think that can't work due to how html lists are made:

You see that the list item tags (li) are the same in both cases, but not the enclosing ul/ol tag. Thus, you can only change a complete list in html, not a single item.

For FCKeditor, I am not sure if it is allows to change list type, but you can create a new list of the type you want.

Does it happen in this wiki?
