Description

I cannot upload some files as attachments in google Chrome, for example the 'httpd-2.2.17-win32-x86-openssl-0.9.8o.msi' as downloaded from http://httpd.apache.org/download.cgi#apache22 will not upload onto my wiki using Chrome (v. 7.0.517.44). Gives error No file content. Delete non ASCII characters from the file name and try again

However it will upload fine with Firefox (v. 2.0.0.4)

Steps to reproduce

  1. download http://mirror.fubra.com/ftp.apache.org//httpd/binaries/win32/httpd-2.2.17-win32-x86-openssl-0.9.8o.msi

  2. try to attach to a wiki page using Google Chrome
  3. get error message No file content. Delete non ASCII characters from the file name and try again

Discussion

Can you specify your moin version more precisely please?

BTW, that error msg is emitted when the file upload object is falsy (None, empty).

Works for: Chrome 6.0.472.63 / Windows Server 2008 R2 / moin 1.9.3+

Does NOT work with: Chrome 7.0.517.44 / Windows Server 2008 R2 / moin 1.9.3+

Can you please file a bug for Chrome, marking this as regression?

If you have more information why this should be a moin bug, please provide them.
