Description
On Opera 9.02 the edit(gui) option in moderne theme is missing. I'm not sure, whether I made a mistake or this is some browser related problem so I decided to discuss that here.
Steps to reproduce
- Javascript is enabled and you are not logged in
- Visit a page in this wiki which is editable
- Only edit(text) is shown but not edit(GUI)

Workaround
Discussion
- Did I make a mistake? I checked all the browser settings. Works at the same time fine on other browsers on my system (IE7, Firefox1.5.0.7) Can anyone confirm this behaviour?
I don't know the current state of opera, but for the gui edit being able to work, the browser must have a browser-built-in html editing control. IE and Mozilla has it, old Operas and Konquerors didn't and newer versions of them maybe still don't.
Could be checked on http://www.fckeditor.net/demo If it does work please show the browsers version too.
Demo on http://www.fckeditor.net/demo does not work on my system. I have already added some "bug"-report on their bug tracker at sourceforge and asked them to give some comment on this.
We have a feedback of the FCKeditor developper: It's not a moin bug. FCKeditor does not (yet) support Opera. See https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1591009&group_id=75348&atid=543653
