Description

Editing preformatted text in Firefox 1.5 causes loss of empty lines if using the gui editor.

Steps to reproduce

  1. write a block of preformatted text containing empty lines in the gui editor in firefox 1.5.
  2. either (a) switch to the text editor or (b) preview or (c) save.

Result: all empty lines in th text have been removed.

Don't ever edit pages with preformatted text blocks in the gui editor in Firefox 1.5

Discussion

If the 1.6 changeset gets some more testing, we could maybe backport it to 1.5.
