Description
SystemInfo-Page still says that Stemming is deactivated even after setting xapian_stemming to True in the wikiconfig and in the farmconfig. I rebuild the index and restarted the wiki but the Page still says it is deactivated and it doesn't work.

Can't reproduce, works here.
Since 1.7 we require Xapian 1.0 and stemming is built-in there. So, if you enable it, it should be shown as available.
I am not sure if it is possible to build the xapian libs without stemming - maybe this is the case for you?

I did a code review and there is no single place except the xapian_stemming default in multiconfig that assigns to this setting. So I guess there is maybe a typo in your config or wrong indenting. -- ThomasWaldmann 2008-09-04 18:49:47
