Niklas Gidion
Hi!
I did the themes called nillo/nirlo and blanko/branko - get them on ThemeMarket. They have a left- (nillo/blanko) resp. right-sidebar (nirlo/branko) with the search-form on top, where the desperately lost find it quickly, and a trailer of the recently viewed pages also on the side. My goal was/is to put all the "utilities" on the side, so that the main attention is focused on the main text of the wiki. But thats the general point of having a sidebar, isn't it?
For rants, questions, suggestions concerning the themes don't hesitate to mail me: <niklas DOT gidion AT SPAMFREE web DOT de>.
I would be especially happy to hear how the themes behave on browsers different from the ones I have available here (opera v7.50 and mozilla v1.6 under linux). I try to code the themes as trans-browser/screen-compatible as I can, but I would love to have some real-life-usability-reports just to be sure
I like the TAGOL stuff - having the tree in the menu is quite interesting. I can see that if you used a more rigid hierachy when developing the wiki this could be quite helpful. -- JosYule I've become inspired to make my own themes after seeing what Niklas has done. Great work! -- B.A. On my system (debian/unstable, browser: mozilla-firefox 0.9, also just tried out plain-old mozilla) my logo icon sinks below the header space when I use tagol. I am not so good with css so I don't know how to fix this -- pls feel free to check out the issue at :
