The MoinMoin project got accepted to participate in the Google Summer of Code 2006 and was granted 3 slots by Google.
Mentors and Project Administration
ThomasWaldmann (mentor/project admin) - MoinMoin project administrator and main developer
FlorianFesti (mentor) - MoinMoin developer
RichardBoulton (mentor) - Xapian developer. Have some familiarity with MoinMoin code (but will need support from MoinMoin devs), and plenty of experience with Python and web applications. Very familiar with Xapian, and would be happy to assist in any way with mentoring a student for integrating Xapian functionality.
Mentors should look at /MentorHome (mentors only).
Mentors and students should try to hang on on irc.freenode.net #moin and #moin-dev as much as possible. If you have a flat rate, just don't log out.
We will talk about /BetterProgress on that page.
