Wiki Configuration
Some values in the wiki configuration depend on your IT environment, some on your goals, some on your policies.
Please provide this information to us, so we can configure your wiki optimally for your environment.
Single Wiki or Wiki Farm?
You can either run a single wiki or multiple wikis (a so called wiki farm):
- [ ] just a single wiki (e.g. host based wiki.example.org/PageName or path based www.example.org/wiki/PageName)
- [ ] multiple wikis (e.g. host based foo.example.org, bar.example.org - or path based www.example.org/foo/, www.example.org/bar/):
- Please give the wiki URL(s) or at least give them names:
Host-based wikis are easier to handle, but need an A / CNAME record in your name server configuration, e.g.:
www A 1.2.3.4 foo CNAME www bar CNAME www
Nameserver Configuration
- [ ] I am doing it myself.
- [ ] Please do it for me (you need to give us access to the nameserver for this).
Security / Access control
By default, wiki uses rather liberal access control.
[ ] setup a wiki admin group ("AdminGroup:admin,read,write,delete,revert")
[ ] use default wiki permissions ("Known:read,write,delete,revert All:read,write")
[ ] only EditorGroup may edit ("EditorGroup:read,write,delete,revert All:read")
[ ] only ReaderGroup may read ("EditorGroup:read,write,delete,revert ReaderGroup:read")
- [ ] special (please tell what you want):
If you want your wiki to be able to notify users about changes by email, please give us your mail server details.
- your mail server (SMTP, hostname or IP):
- if needed, your SMTP auth username AND password:
Install location
If you don't have a special preference, we'll install everything moin into /home/moin.
