An attempt to make the default MoinMoin theme look a little better, both in graphical and text-based browser, while preserving the general look and feel.
Changes include:
- Reworked header, tweaked colors, borders and spacing
Used icons from the Tango Project
- Reworked the generated HTML to make it look better unstyled, and in browsers that don't support CSS fully, like Microsoft Internet Explorer 6
The theme is included in MoinMoin by default since version 1.8.

Discussion
I'd like to make further improvements to this theme, and of course to invite everyone to help with it. If we make it good, maybe it could replace the default in the future? -- -- RadomirDopieralski 2008-05-20 11:47:07
In modernized, one can hardly separate broken links from valid ones (in modern first ones were grey and last ones were blue, in modernized all seem to be blue). Is it feature or bug? -- FrBrGeorge 2008-11-05 20:20:14
It's a bug, thanks for pointing it out. I didn't notice it because I always have the question marks enabled. -- RadomirDopieralski 2008-11-05 21:53:12
modernized displays links three times, sometimes even four times. in the following screenshot there are three links to the homepage, and tree to the page we are currently seeing. this seems a waste of screen space.
because we use the word MoinMoin also as Interwikiname and as pagename and we display interwiki links. A page named MoinMoin will be displayed also in the pagetrail. It is important to show the current page in the navibar. I am not sure if the current page has to be added into the current pagetrail. But it needs to be also in the page title. The name of the page in the pagetitle and in the navibar has a different meaning. -- ReimarBauer 2009-01-10 15:05:05
why is it important to the page in the navi-bar? if one clicks somewhere else it anyway goes away? also there is a big free space on the right around the search box (on larger screens anyway) which is unused. ThurnerRupert
how do you go back from Attachments? Or how do you disable highlighting if it is not there?
